“Absolutely love the versatility of the RadRunner Plus! The 750W motor is a game-changer, smoothly tackling both hills and city commutes. Plus, the 26.22 miles on max assistance is impressive. The 80mm suspension fork adds a nice touch, making the ride plush. While the PAS 1 setting seems to conserve battery well, the moped-style seat could use some improvement for longer rides. Overall, a fantastic e-bike with great value!”

I am 58 years old and about 50 lbs. overweight. (Before buying “Pearl” that number was about 70 – thanks, in part, to my beloved RadRunner Plus!) I live in a very hilly ski resort town in southern B.C. I ride every evening when it cools down, and also up to the downtown area for groceries, and to my mother’s apartment which is up a very steep hill. For those riders “of a certain age” who are thinking about it, do yourself a favor and make this purchase. As I told my husband, “I have never bought myself a “toy” of my own, meanwhile you have had them our whole adult lives.” Come on 50 – 70 -somethings, join me and feel the freedom and independence this bike provides!

I just rode this bike home from the shop and noticed the awkwardness of the seat right away. Do you have any suggestions for a more comfortable seat for pedaling? Otherwise it felt very smooth and strong. Do you know of a longboard surfboard rack that will fit this bike? Thank you!

Should be fine, but it’s worth trying out the stock seat first to see how you feel about it. It meshes nicely with the passenger seat that comes on the plus model.

We bought the Radrunner 1, and it only came two days ago, so we are still fiddling! I hope it doesn’t appear sour grapes, but there is nothing on the Plus that I wanted. Possibly the forks, but I need more time to tell. Also, I don’t like the colour. Green just seems to suit it, like small yellow cars. The main selling point for me was the front rack and carrying capacity. It’s easy to get on, and takes up less room in the house. It is a bit heavy, but that’s because it’s well-made. I noticed the strength of the centre stand mounting this morning. I’ve acquired some mudguards, but still to be fitted. I’ve had one quick ride, and it felt good.
